Arts & Parts May 9-10, 2025

Spring Theme: Healing Grief

ARTS & PARTS is a mix of “Parts” therapy & creative arts, and while it’s not a therapy workshop, there are therapeutic elements woven into the 2 days.

If you’ve been carrying the weight of grief—whether from loss, change, or the unspoken emotions life has piled on—Arts & Parts offers you a space to breathe, create, and heal. This two-day retreat provides a safe and supportive environment to process your emotions through creative experiences like painting or collage, with the guidance of two experienced therapists.

Reignite Your Creativity & Inner Joy

Did you grow up believing you weren’t creative? That making art wasn’t for you?Do you admire others creating but think, “I can’t”?

I can tell you, that’s simply not true!

Many of us carry creativity wounds—limiting beliefs that make us feel disconnected from artistic expression. But deep inside, we all have creative parts waiting to play. Remember when you were a child, drawing, coloring, and creating just for fun? You knew something essential: making stuff is fun!

At Arts & Parts, we invite you to reconnect with that joy. Join us for two immersive days where you’ll rediscover your creativity, embrace play, and experience the transformative power of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and expressive arts.

TESTIMONIALS

What Clients Are Saying

  • - Nancy, retired nurse

I loved the time spent on pondering where I was going to go with the collage after your great demonstrations. I loved looking at all the options provided and thinking of my intention for the day and the project! It really encouraged me do some personal reflection in a peaceful environment and gave me a very cool and different way to express my feelings!

  • - Jenny, Teacher

Heidi and Jenn really created a beautiful and supportive space where we could gather, share and create. Because I'd already been doing some parts work and was 'getting to know' some of my parts (fear, trust/faith, etc) I had some clear ideas of where I wanted to go with my canvas. Please know: I am NEW to paint and I loved using it.

  • Jessie, Business owner

I loved being at Arts & Parts because … it gave me an opportunity to withhold judgement of myself and let go of perfectionism.  It also allowed me to interact with so many wonderful women in a safe environment and share challenges and knowledge together,

  • Wendy, entrepreneur

Since attending Arts & Parts I have been less critical of myself and of others. I have been a better listener. I have continued with art and journaling more so than in the past. I better know how to adjust and calm myself when old anxieties creep in.

  • Debbie, professional artist

I really did love it all. But I found the group sharing (in the circle and in our group review of work) to be so powerful and life-giving. I was blown away by this group of women. It was really like a treasure chest.
